The new packaging for jumbo jawbreakers is nothing less than brilliant. As an icosahedron has so many sides it is ideal to fit a spherical jawbreaker. This will create the minimum wasted space and little packaging to throw away. Helping the environment while still providing an awesome jawbreaker.​

     With the small surface area 90cm2 the jumbo jawbreaker will fit comfortably in its small packaging. The surface area was found by the following simple formula:

      The volume, much like the surface area is small and ideal for low wasted space and little packaging. The volume being 138.56cm3 was found by multiplying the edge measurement by itself and then multiplying the product by 8.66.​

     In the future I would prefer to make the jumbo jawbreaker packaging out of a stronger and more reusable material. This would create even less waste to throw away lowering the constant demand for packaging that will just be thrown out right after it’s bought. Therefore helping the environment while still providing the awesome product.
